If you're interested in being notified
about of the release of new articles or other noteworthy events at the Base
Camp, you can register for our email newsletter using the
link below. All we request is your name and a valid email address. As an
alternative (or supplement) to email notification, you might also want to
consider our RSS feed.
Feedback Forum Note
The newsletter database is currently not integrated with the feedback forum because the forum software lacks certain email-related features that are necessary to comply with US and international anti-spam laws. Accordingly, even if you've already supplied an (optional) email address while registering there, that address won't be used for newsletters, which means that you must register separately here.
Registration Process
We use a "double-opt-in" registration process to make sure that no one else can use your email address. After supplying your contact information, you'll receive a confirmation email to which you simply need to reply (the confirmation code is embedded in the outbound address). The email will be sent from jim@jwbasecamp.com. Likewise, all articles and newsletters will originate from the same address, so please make sure that your email spam filter doesn't block these communications. Once you reply to the confirmation, you'll receive no further registration-related emails.
Privacy
Please be assured that all contact information is rigorously protected and will never be provided to anyone without your consent, nor used for any purpose other than that stated here (I hate spam as much as you do).
Unsubscribe
You can remove your name from the list at any time using the "unsubscribe" link below. Likewise, there will be an "unsubscribe" link included in all newsletters and announcements. In order to unsubscribe, however, you'll need to remember (and enter) the email address you used to register. The only confirmation that you'll receive after unsubscribing is an on-screen message similar to that shown below (i.e., no email confirmation).
